Jo & Ray Enke are a Shenandoah Valley acoustic duo blending guitars, banjo, and vocal harmonies into a warm Americana sound. With a growing catalog of original songs in their live repertoire, Jo & Ray draw on the landscapes, stories, and musical traditions of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley to create heartfelt, engaging performances. Their music is rooted in acoustic folk and Americana, with influences ranging from Appalachian traditions to country and classic rock.
THE LIVE EXPERIENCE
Jo & Ray's live repertoire combines original songs with carefully selected folk, country, and classic rock favorites. They shape the performance to fit the setting, from intimate 30-75 minute sets centered on original material to longer 2–3 hour performances that blend originals with familiar songs audiences know and love. The goal is always the same, engaging music, strong harmonies, and a genuine connection with audiences.

Based in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, Jo & Ray draw inspiration from the region's mountains, rivers, small towns, and musical traditions.
